Knotted Field Fence

Knotted field fence is galvanized steel wire fencing with a knot wrapped at every crossing, so the wires stay put when the fence is stretched tight over long runs between posts. Use it to fence land, orchards, farms and cattle, goat or sheep paddocks. 90-165 cm high, 8x15 and 10x15 cm openings, 50 m rolls.

What is knotted field fence?

Knotted field fence is galvanized steel wire fencing with a knot wrapped around every point where the line wires and stay wires cross. The knots stop the wires sliding when the fence is stretched, so it covers long runs with widely spaced posts and less wire than other fence types.

Where to use it

Boundary fencing for land, orchards and farms
Cattle, buffalo, goat and sheep paddocks
Perimeters for farms, factories and open sites

Choosing height, opening and wire

90-120 cm suits goats, sheep and general boundaries; 150-165 cm suits cattle and stops people climbing over. 8x15 cm openings are tighter than 10x15 cm and keep mid-size animals in better. 2.5 mm wire is stronger than 2.2/1.8 mm. Every size comes in 50 m rolls.
