What grades and sizes does low-carbon wire rod come in?
Low-carbon wire rod is made to TIS 348-2540 (JIS G 3505) in diameters of 5.5-16 mm (5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9.5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16), with a diameter tolerance of 0.5 mm. Coils weigh 1,300-1,500 kg. It is raw material for tie wire, wire mesh, barbed wire, galvanized wire, nails and welded wire reinforcement.
