What tools do you need to lay AAC blocks?
AAC block tools differ from clay-brick tools because AAC blocks are laid with thin-bed mortar and have an aerated body. You need a trowel that spreads an even bed along the whole block, a saw that cuts straight, and anchors and ties designed for AAC. The right tools give you straight, strong walls that don't crack later.
Types of AAC block tools
- AAC block trowel: notched trowels from 7.5 to 20 cm to match the block, plus comb and sanding trowels for leveling courses.
