How long can a precast lightweight concrete wall panel be for each thickness?
The panels are made of autoclaved lightweight concrete with rust-proof coated steel reinforcement inside. Standard width is 60 cm and thickness 7.5-20 cm. Tongue-and-groove edges make installation easy, panels can be cut, sawn and drilled with simple tools, and they resist fire for up to 4 hours. Some types are skim-coated at the factory to cut plastering on site, while uncoated types can be tiled or clad with stone directly.
The maximum panel length for interior walls depends on thickness, and should be set according to the spacing of the columns that hold the panels.
