What is a conveyor belt?
A conveyor belt is a flat belt that loops over rollers or a slider bed to carry goods and parts along a production line. The conveyor belts at OneStockHome are BANDO Sunline (SL codes), light-duty belts for food plants, warehouses and assembly lines, not the black rubber belts used in mining and quarries.
BANDO Sunline grades
Grade | Application | Example models |
|---|---|---|
F grade | Unpackaged food | SL-F2100, SL-F2200 white PU, non-stick, anti-bacterial |
M grade | Logistics and general conveying | SL-M4100 / M4300 PU, SL-M5210 silicone, SL-MC400 special rubber |
S grade | Special specifications | SL-S3827 anti-static PU, SL-S9235 food-grade PVC |
- F grade conveyor belts for lines in direct contact with food
- M grade conveyor belts for parcel sorting, warehouses and general use
- S grade conveyor belts for special needs such as static-sensitive electronics
PU vs PVC conveyor belts
PU (polyurethane) covers resist oil, grease and wear and are odorless, which makes them popular on food lines that are washed often. PVC covers cost less and suit general conveying. Silicone and special rubber covers grip harder, for incline conveyors or parts that must not slide.
