Concrete surface repair mortar restores floors, walls, columns and concrete roads that are spalled, pitted, honeycombed or shallowly cracked. It bonds well to old concrete without delaminating and can be applied thin, so it is used to even out surfaces before painting, tiling or floor coatings.

Break out loose concrete back to sound material, clean off dust and oil, and dampen the surface without standing water, or apply the bonding agent the maker specifies. Mix to the ratio on the bag, press the mortar in firmly and keep it moist for the recommended time so the patch does not crack.
