There are various types of Cold Reduced Carbon Steel Sheets and Strip. The applications are also varied depend on product specification. 

For General Use: JIS G 3141 Cold-reduced carbon steel sheets and strip

SPCC: Commercial quality

Application: Automotive parts, household electrical appliances, furniture, drums, oil filters, base metal for galvanized sheets and other coated products 

High Strength and improved formability: JIS G 3135

Grades Available: SPFC340, SPFC370, SPFC390, SPFC440, SPFC590, SPFC590Y. 

Application: These steel sheets are strengthened to provide a guaranteed tensile strength while maintaining comparatively good formability 

Characteristics: Mainly used for automotive due to high strength and improved formability 

For Special Use: JIS G 3141

Grades: SPCC1 

Application: Flatness of products is strictly controlled. Base metal for galvanized sheets (GI use)

Grade: SPCC4 SPCC8

Application: For SPCC4 and SPCC8 for specially hard steel. Application: For pipes, tubes and chains

For Special Use: JIS G4051

Grade: JIS G 4051, JIS G 3311

Application: Carbon steel for machine structural use, chain part, clutch parts, washer, toe-cap of safety shoes
