Concrete Floor Plastic Sheets
Polyethylene sheeting laid under concrete slabs keeps cement paste from bleeding into the soil so the concrete cures to full strength, and blocks ground moisture that causes damp floors and loose tiles. Also used to cover curing concrete and keep sites clean. Several thicknesses and widths.

What Is SCG Concrete Fabric?
Concrete fabric is a fabric made by combining cement-based material with new-technology synthetic fibers, woven into a flexible sheet. It is strong thanks to the cement and flexible thanks to the fiber, so it can be shaped to fit each site, making installation easier. It is suited to basic civil engineering work that does not carry structural loads directly, such as lining canals, protecting slopes against erosion, lining ponds and reinforcing earth embankments against flooding.
Advantages: Quick, Easy Installation
Concrete fabric is fast and convenient to use and install. The steps are:
- Level and compact the surface where the fabric will be used.
- Lay the concrete fabric with the blue-striped side facing down.
- Shape the fabric to follow the required surface.
- Lay the next sheet with an overlap, and fix it with cement paste and anchor pins.
- Once the fabric is in the desired shape and position, soak the entire sheet with clean water.
- Allow 4 hours to set. The fabric hardens in the desired shape, limits crack propagation and is watertight, like cement.
SCG Concrete Fabric Size
- Standard size of SCG concrete fabric before wetting:
- Width 1 m x length 5 m x thickness 10 mm
- Concrete fabric weight: 60 kg
How to Use SCG Concrete Fabric
- Prepare: Level and compact the site surface.
- Lay: Lay the concrete fabric and shape it to the required surface.
- Fix: Join sheets together with cement and anchor pins.
- Water: Soak the fabric thoroughly with water and wait 4 hours for it to harden.
