How can fibre cement stair planks decorate a concrete staircase?
SCG Smartwood stair planks are fibre cement for interior and exterior use, installed over Q-CON concrete stairs or steel frames. They are 25 mm thick with larger rounded edges. The screw-free system saves time on screw-head finishing and painting. They are made from Portland cement, cellulose fibre and silica sand, steam-cured in an autoclave, with no asbestos. Pieces include treads, risers and landing planks, for example a 27.5x120x2.5 cm tread and an 18x120x1.6 cm riser.
