Wood Plank 6 inch

What is Smartwood plank made of, and where can it be used?

Smartwood plank is a fibre cement synthetic wood made of Portland cement, cellulose fibre, silica sand and water, cured in a high-pressure steam autoclave. It contains no asbestos and does not shrink or swell. It has two factory-sprayed acrylic coats so colour does not peel, and can be sawn, planed or nailed like real wood. Use it for interior and exterior walls, curved walls, bathroom walls and gable decoration, on steel or timber frames or masonry walls.
