AAC Lightweight Block G4
G4 AAC lightweight blocks, class 4 to TIS 1505, about 500-700 kg/m³ and 40 kg/cm² or more in compression. Stronger than G2 and better for heavy fixings, for condos, high-rise and engineered walls. 7-25 cm from Q-CON, THAICON, TPI, Aerocrete and Smart Block.

What are G4 AAC blocks?
G4 AAC blocks are class 4 blocks under TIS 1505-2541, with a dry density of about 500-700 kg/m³ and a compressive strength of 40 kg/cm² or more, roughly twice that of G2. The denser body is stronger, withstands impact better and holds anchors for heavy loads, while still being much lighter than clay brick.

- Condos, high-rise, hotels and office buildings where the designer specifies class 4.
- Walls that carry wall-hung cabinets, shelves or wall-mounted sanitary ware.

Benefits of G4 AAC blocks
Higher strength means fewer chipped blocks in transport and on site, walls that resist impact, and fire resistance of 4 hours or more according to the manufacturers. For ordinary houses where heat insulation and cost matter most, G2 AAC blocks are enough. The table compares the two grades.
