Self-Leveling Floor Underlayment
Self-leveling floor underlayment flows out and levels itself with minimal troweling, leaving a flat, even base for vinyl, SPC, laminate, epoxy and polished cement floors in homes, condos and commercial buildings. From INSEE, TPI, Jingjo, Gypcon and Jorakay.
Self-Leveling Floor Underlayment
Self-leveling underlayment is a ready-mixed cement that turns highly fluid with water. Poured onto the floor it spreads and levels itself to a smooth surface with far less troweling than ordinary screed, so it is the go-to fix for uneven slabs before finishes that need a truly flat base.
Where to use it
- Underlay for vinyl, SPC, laminate and engineered wood, which need a flat base so planks do not flex or lift
- Preparing slabs for epoxy, PU and loft-style polished cement floors
- Leveling rooms in condos, offices and shops during renovation without adding much floor height
How to choose
Each product supports a different pour depth, so check the recommended thickness on the product page. For pours of several centimeters or large level differences, lay a floor screed first. The base must be clean, dry and primed as the maker specifies. Measure water exactly, mix with a mixing paddle and pour within the working time.
